About Me
I'm Paul — a Senior Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of clean code, scalable systems, and just the right amount of cosmic curiosity. With over 8 years of experience, I started out as a self-taught developer and gradually leveled up from building small web apps to engineering full end-to-end solutions and large-scale distributed systems. By day, I'm building secure and robust logistics platforms with GDIT. By night (or whenever Miso the dog allows), I'm exploring new tech stacks, launching space-inspired side projects, and vibecoding my way through the galaxy of full-stack development.
My passion? Crafting backend systems that not only scale, but make sense. I believe the best code is both resilient and reasonable. Whether it's spinning up microservices or teaching AI to imagine undiscovered planets, I'm here for the ride — and the occasional space pun.
idlepods is more than a portfolio — it's my creative control room. Expect projects that orbit around performance, clever automation, and maybe a few black hole simulations for fun.
